Requirements For Getting Married in Tobago

As a non resident of Trinidad and Tobago, to get married on any of the two islands some requirements have to be met. They are as follows:

You must reside in Trinidad and or Tobago three days before getting married

If divorced, original or notarized copy of decree absolute must be presented

If widowed, original death certificate of spouse

Proof of name change where name differs on ducuments

Persons under age 18 must have documented consent from parent or legal guardian

Birth certificate, Passport, Ticket.

The license cost US$ 55 payable in cash at the Department of Inland Revenue Department in Scarborough

NOTE: Any document that is not in English must have an notarized English Translation.
